Vaping THC For High Potency Hits

Dec 23, 2021

The cannabis industry is one of the fastest-growing in the United States. Today, you have so many product options it’s almost unbelievable. Even so, inhalation remains one of the most popular consumption methods. It’s not only smoking anymore, though. Vaping has become a go-to alternative for many users. In this article, we’ll take a closer look at vaping THC, including what it is, ways to do it, and how to choose the right products.

What Is Vaping?

Vaping is a method of cannabis consumption that, like smoking, involves inhalation. Instead of inhaling smoke, however, you inhale vapor. The heat from vape devices vaporizes cannabis instead of combusting it. You don’t get the same tar and carcinogens. Instead, you get smoother, cleaner, healthier hits.

Ways to Vape THC

When it comes to vaping THC, you have a few options. Whether you’re looking for a way to enjoy it from the comfort of your home or you’d like something a little more portable, there’s a vape device for you.

Tabletop Vaporizers

As their name suggests, tabletop vaporizers are stationary vape devices that sit on your coffee table, desktop, or other stable surfaces. While they come in various shapes and sizes, they all generally have similar components: a heating chamber, heating element, temperature control, and mouthpiece. You usually need to plug these devices in to use them.

Portable Vaporizers

Portable vaporizers are smaller versions of their tabletop cousins. Their main draw is that you can more easily take them wherever you go. The ones made for vaping flower have a chamber for your cannabis and a heating element. They also have a battery instead of a plug, and many have a temperature control button or dial.

Vape Pens

Vape pens are probably one of the most well-known vape devices. Like portable flower vaporizers, these pen-like vaporizers are small, discreet, and easily carried around. Instead of flowers, though, these devices vaporize cannabis oil.

With vape pens, you have two options. One is a rechargeable variety, which comes with a rechargeable battery that you plug in when it’s running low. When the oil runs out, you replace it with a new cartridge. Your other option is a disposable vape pen, which you throw away after using all of the oil up.

Choosing THC Products to Vape

The type of THC product you choose for vaping depends on a few things. First, what device are you using? A tabletop or portable flower vaporizer means you’ll need a bud, while vape pens typically use oil. Consider your goals so you can select a strain that will help you achieve them.

If you’re looking for a flower, take a look at the cannabinoid profile. High THC strains with little to no CBD are likely to cause a more potent high than a more balanced one.

For oils, you have more options. You can select a THC isolate, which means the oil has no other cannabinoids or terpenes. You can also choose a full-spectrum oil. These oils have THC as well as most of the cannabinoids and terpenes from the original plant. Some oils contain cutting agents, while others may have added terpenes for extra flavor. Again consider your goals and your preferences to find the best options for you.
